Today from my kitchen something sweet but healthy… brownie banana bread! Check my VLOG#2 in VIDEO GALLERY (DVTV) and here is my recipe:

2 bananas (very ripe)

3 eggs

1 cup creamy almond butter

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon fine grain sea salt

1/2 cup coconut sugar

3/4 cup raw cacao

3/4 cup chopped walnuts

3/4 cup chopped dark chocolate


Preheat oven to 160 degress. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving some to overhang the sides. Mash the two bananas in a large bowl, leaving a few chunks.

Beat the eggs and almond butter into the banana mixture. Add the vanilla, baking soda, sea salt, coconut sugar and raw cacao and stir until well combined.

Stir in the chopped chocolate and chopped walnuts, leaving a small handful of both out to sprinkle over the top of the bread. Pour the butter into thr prepared loaf pan. Sprinke the top of the bread with reserved chocolate chunks and walnuts.

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for a least 20 minutes in the pan before removing, or 5 min like me 🙂
